As I’ve gotten older, I enjoy my birthdays and feel proud of myself for becoming the person I wanted to be when I was young.

I used to cry every birthday because I was deeply disappointed with myself. No tears this year. Only excitement about the future and immense drive to keep chasing after my potential.

As a business owner, sometimes your job can take you to places you never imagined you’d get to go. Here are my top 3 travel tips to travel AND be productive 👇🏻

✈️Be available for your team: when you’re in a different time zone, it can be challenging to make sure you are still available when they need you. Make sure that no matter how far ahead you might be, let your team know the easiest way to reach you are so everyone is set up for success.

✈️Time block: when traveling for business, you know that there will clearly be times where you are in meetings or handling pressing matters. It’s vital to plan so that your non negotiable tasks get accomplished and you can delegate lower priority tasks to your team.

✈️Take care of your health: it’s no secret that in order to stay on top of your business you must also stay on top of your health! Making sure that you are well rested, staying hydrated, and being active are all key components to staying in top shape while traveling.

Accounting manager: accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements

Marketing lead: implementation and execution on the defined marketing campaign with tracking setup for regular review of performance

Project manager: clear and detailed project plans for top 3 projects with successful kickoffs and tracking setup for regular review of status and risks.
